The Earth Groans

It all started with the fall of man. Nature suffered corruption and a curse because sin entered the world in Genesis as detailed in chapter 3.
Romans 8:22 details that as a result we live in a world that is constantly groaning.
Pain of Childbirth: Paul uses birth pangs to show that the suffering is not meaningless, but leads to new life and restoration.
Eager Waiting: All of creation looks forward to being freed from decay when God's children are fully revealed.
